Questions & Answers

What is to be expected when booking with you?  Select the session type and package that's right for you, then I'll reach out via email with more information and an invoice to secure your date on my calendar. I'll act as a trusted resource and support in the months and weeks leading up to your session, answering questions and providing guidance on things like outfits, props, etc. I will touch base with you a week before your session for any questions that have come up and another follow up the day before to check in with you. 

When do I expect my gallery?  Your images will be delivered via Shoot Proof in a private gallery within 2 weeks of the session date. This site gives you the opportunity to download the image, and also order prints. The prints are done with GTA Imaging that is a Canadian based company. 

Can I do a scheduled payment plan?   Yes! If a payment plan would help ease some stress as I know all too well payment plans do just that, please let me know and we can talk about it together. 

What do I need to wear to my session?   I would like you to be you! Dress in what makes you, you! 

For a Newborn session, does my baby need to be sleeping? What if the baby is fussy? Or needs to feed?  Don't worry about anything! The session will work around the baby, and it will be relaxed. I want it to feel as if you have your best friend over visiting. I don't even want you to worry about the house and how dirty it is. Absolutely no stress. I am a mother, and I do not judge anyone. I am there to capture your families story.

The Golden Age sessions, where are those taken? What do they look like?  These sessions will vary in how they look as everyone is so different in what they want to capture. These can be taken in your home, the garden, with your personal plane, or in the park where you can be your fun silly self. These sessions are for people 60 and older. They are to tell a story, to capture life! Yes you may not look like you used to in your 40's, but this is the beauty of it all. You have had the privilege to live as long as you have. Your photos, tell a greater story. 

Why are the sessions so long?  I am glad you asked! I find that everyone is nervous in the initial 20 min of getting together. Those nerves are goin and not as relaxed, and honestly, I am a bit nervous too, it's normal. After that 20-30 min mark, everyone gets comfortable and more relaxed where those authentic, candid moments really start coming out! The longer the sessions, the more I become like a fly on the wall capturing those raw moments.  

Do you pose?  No, not necessarily. I have a mixture of Lifestyle and Documentary to the session. Giving some creative ideas with guidance, yet capturing the in between that are totally random. 

Do you do prints?  I don't do prints myself, but when I send the galleries out, with Shoot Proof I have added GTA Imaging to the gallery where you are then able to order what you would like as prints. There are regular prints and there are prints on canvas, bamboo, etc. GTA Imaging is a Canadian based company.
