The Simms Family

There is something incredibly special about a family reaching out again a year later to capture more family memories. I first met the Simms last year when I was offering fall mini sessions, and we had so much fun! With only 15 mins for a session, their little one kept me on my toes, running around and keeping things lively. The things I love most about family sessions is the energy, the laughter, the silliness, and all those little in-between moments that make each family unique.

I felt incredibly honored and excited when the Simms reached out again this fall for another family session. Seeing them felt like catching up with old friends, reconnecting and picking up right where we left off. Yet this time, kiddo had not only grown, she was soon to be a bigger sister as another little one was soon to be born!

We met at Uplands Park, where the golden light filtered through the tall grasses and danced among the old trees. It was absolutely stunning! The warm autumn glow created the perfect setting to capture their family together.

I thoroughly enjoy what I do, and getting to see families again and watching their stories unfold over the years, brings so much joy to my heart. Time passes so quickly, and it's such a privilege to be able to preserve these moments for them to look back on and treasure.
